About Cameron Davison aka OddBlast

Welcome to the OddBlast.com website, home of aspiring pro golfer Cameron Davison.  OddBlast.com and OddBlast.TV have become my golf medium for Reality Golf: Road to the Tour!  It is my outlet to do something creative and different from the daily motions of life (Work-Work-Work).  Everyone needs to be themselves, even if it is just for a brief glimpse of time.  Presently, I am a full-time Project Manager.  I have returned to college to finish my education.  In addition, I am working on obtaining numerous certifications to further my career (Prince2, Six(6) Sigma, PMI and any others that catch my eye).  When I am not doing any of the above, I am a full-time husband to the best wife and supporter a guy could have and an absolutely proud parent to the most wonderful little buddy a daddy could dream of.

Ideas - Plans - Goals - Misc.

What are my ideas?  Well, the idea is to document the trials and tribulations of attempting to get on a pro circuit.  Follow me randomly on OddBlast.TV, the Blog and social networking sites with what my hopeful caddy coined: Reality Golf: Road to the Tour!  If you scroll down further, you will see I have a 'proposed' schedule.

The Plan and Goal...is to work on my golf game this year, build up the 'hype' (if there is any to build up), get enough sponsors to cover expenses and have fun!  (note: If  you would like to sponsor me check out the Become a Sponsor Page for additional information.)  This is what golf is about....having fun and enjoying yourself outdoors with great people.  I would like to play in at least five (5) events next year, 2009.  I feel that starting at the bottom of the ranks and working your way through to the top is the most respectful way to start.  The five (5) events will tentatively be on the Carolina Series of the NGA Tour.  They are in their inaugural year right now.  Presently the Top Three (3) from which ever Carolina event you are playing in get included in that weeks NGA Event.  More information to follow.

Misc. You will not be able to miss me once I am out there playing, I think that bright, vibrant colors help make the game!
